Celebrate Oak Cliff’s unique French heritage and celebrate Bastille Day in the Bishop Arts District!
Bastille on Bishop will be held on Thursday, July 14 from 5 to 10 pm in the heart of Bishop Arts. The annual event, which celebrates the French national holiday, also pays tribute to La Reunion, the French utopian colony that became the first settlement in what is now north Oak Cliff.
The French-themed festivities will be held indoors and outside, as most of the Bishop Arts businesses participate. Live music, pop-up markets, dancing, and plenty of food and drink will be offered. Food trucks, mimes, and musicians will be on hand, and a main stage will feature musicians, and other acts.
The event, which is pet-friendly, is free to roam around, but tickets are required to sample the beer and wine while you roam the street festival. Tickets, which provide a special event wine glass and tokens to redeem for beer, wine, or food, are available by clicking right here.
