Dash for the Beads – February
Dash for the Beads is an annual event held the same weekend as the Oak Cliff Mardi Gras. It includes 10k and 5k runs and a 1 mile walk that starts and ends at Kidd Springs Park and runs throughout the surrounding Kessler Park neighborhoods. The event raises money for local civic groups, educational organizations, and schools. It is organized by Good Space.

Bastille on Bishop – July 14

Taste of Dallas – September
An annual food and drink festival features over 50 restaurants and food trucks, as well as live music. It is held in the parking lot of Cliff Temple Baptist Church.

Oaktoberfest – September
This beer-themed fall event includes a fun run around Tyler Station, with beer samples for race participants. Afterward, food, polka music, and local beer brands are featured in a Oktoberfest-style tent.

Shop Eat Drink Pink – October
A wine walk and VIP party in the Bishop Arts District raising funds for early breast cancer detection programs and mammograms at Methodist Health System’s Charlton Women’s Imaging Center in southern Oak Cliff.
Blues, Bandits, and BBQ – November
An annual BBQ competition and Blues festival held in Oak Cliff.
